Spirituality... The search of God..

There is no definition which can define the term "spirituality". According to Waaijman, the traditional meaning of spirituality is a process of free formation which aims to recover the original shape of man, the image of God. We discovered this original shape of man in Judaism the Torah, in Christianity Christ, in Buddhism Buddha, in the Islam Muhammad. To help common man discovering this original shape sacred texts are written in our religions. some of them are as follows-

Bhagavad Geeta

The Bhagvad Geeta refers to the song of the Bhagavan, is a seven hundred verse scripture which forms the part of the Hindu epic Mahabharata. Geeta is sacred is text of the Hindus. It has a form of narration which is a dialogue between Pandava prince Arjuna and his guide Lord Krishna.

The Geeta representes a combination of the Brahmanical concept of Dharma, the yogic ideals of Liberation through Jnana and Samkhya philosophy.

Quran

The Quran refers to the recitation also is the central sacred text of Islam. Muslims believe it to be a declaration from God. It is referred as the finest piece of texts in the Arabic Language.

It is regarded as the most important miracle of Muhammad, the proof of his prophethood. It is believed that the Quran was told to Muhammad from God through the angel Gabriel. The Quran is described as the book of guidance. It describes itself as "the mother book", "the guide", "the rememberance", "the wisdom".

Bible

The bible is the collection of sacred texts considered in Judaism and Christianity. There are various Bibles with different contents exist. The term Bible shared between Judaism and Christianity.

The Hebrew Bible includes 24 books divided into three parts- Torah, Nevi'im, Ketuvim.

In the Christian Bibles, there are sixty-six books of the protestant canon to the eighty-one books of Ethiopian Orthodox Church canon.

The Gutenberg Bible was the first printed bible.

The Bible is the best selling book of all the time (annual sales=100 million copies)
